Help me, Help you with a Tarot Reading

After a long hiatus, I’m feeling more inspired to deal cards for folks in order to show the world how I play this game of Tarot. In order to do this, I’m willing to exchange a limited number of readings for my registered subscribers who are willing to allow their reading to be public. You interested?

This idea is simple, in order to really show the world how this is done, it needs to be recorded and uploaded so it can be listened to or viewed. This is what I do for my private readings and I use several tools to help me do that.

The way I currently provide readings is to connect with the person via the phone so we can talk our way through the session and record it at the same time. When I record it, I use the same software that I do when making a YouTube video. This allows me to capture both an image of the computer screen along with an image of me as an overlay. As we talk and draw cards, I use my computer to scroll the appropriate cards into view for reference. Likewise, the querent may want to get connected to the website so that they can read along in real-time. After the session is done, I upload the video to YouTube as an unlisted video so the search engines won’t find it and then I share the link with the querent in a password protected post on the website.

The idea behind this is that the querent can stay focused on the reading without having to do the technical work. Also, because a lot of information is covered, its amazing to have the recording to watch in order to get subtle meanings from the cards regarding the questions. Sometimes, I may not see what you see when you review the session, but being able to review it makes it powerful.

Rules for qualifying for a free reading

The idea here is that I’ll exchange my time if you allow me to post the reading online – publicly. To qualify…

• You need to live in the US. When we connect it costs me minutes and the “free” ones are limited. I don’t want to have to pay long distance charges. (I’m willing to try Skype internationally.)
• You will need to be a registered user of this website. When you register, you automatically get the main definitions to all the cards so you can follow along during the reading.
• If you’ve already had a reading from me, you know the process so if you want another you’ll be placed at the end of the queue.
• Once the reading is posted publicly, you share your experience with a couple friends and if you so feel inspired, you can write a testimonial that I can place with your reading on the website.

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve simplified the website down to what I find useful for this process. When doing that, I also updated all the classic card definitions. Please let me know if you find something that needs to be edited.
